The brain child of Shimla Educational Society Trust, Shimla Valley Nursing College was founded in the year 2013 Recognized by INC, New Delhi & HPNRC Shimla, approved b y H.P. Government with the aim to serve the students community by imparting quality nursing education with competence. Located in the pristine location with salubrious climate in the city of Shimla, the college has an rich environment for academic and professional growth.
1.College has a eight storey building with large, airy and naturally well lighted lecture halls, multipurpose hall with seating capacity of 300 students.
2. Well equipped labs as per Indian Nursing Council Norms.
3.College has separate transport facility to bring and take nursing students to clinical training.
4. For clinical training of the students, Government of Himachal Pradesh has permanently attached Indira Gandhi Medical College & Hospital Shimla with Shimla valley Nursing College.
5.Hostel is in the college campus having well furnished and equipped rooms with modern amenities, hygienic mess, 24*7 water supply and electricity.
6. The Ministry of Defense Government of India has allotted one unit of Senior Division NCC for girl Nursing Students.
We have strived to make the most of our educational opportunities balancing academic rigor with enriching extracurricular activities and leadership roles. this pursuit has led to a multitude of achievement, shaping our student into well rounded and capable individual.
