Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Government Medical College (YSPGMC) is an eminent medical institution located in Nahan, Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The foundation stone of YSPGMC was laid in November, 2016 converting then Regional Hospital to Medical College. The initial annual intake capacity for the MBBS program was set at 100 students, which has increased to 120 since 2019. The college is affiliated to Atal Medical & Research University, Ner Chowk, District Mandi (H.P.).
Academic Programs
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS): The MBBS program admits 120 students annually. Admissions are based on the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) scores, with 15% of the seats allocated for the All India Quota.
MD (Community Medicine): The National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved three seats for postgraduate students specializing in Community Medicine at YSPGMC in 2023. YSPGMC is committed to fostering a conducive learning environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, clinical training facilities, and student accommodations to support the academic and personal growth of its students.
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM): YSPGMC offers a General Nursing and Midwifery program, enrolling 30 students each year. Postgraduate Courses

3. Successfully carried out total Knee replacement of a patient.
