Message from the Principal
I am honored and feel very privileged to be the Principal of Kullu Valley College of Nursing. I am always excited and look forward to working with our students, staff and parents to make our institute the best it can be.
Health is only thing which stay with us in any bad or goof circumstances. The loss of good health causes loss Of all the happiness. A Great Freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi has said that “it is health which is real wealth, and not piece of gold and silver” Nurses play a vital role in health promotion and prevention of diseases. The role of nurses are now changing they are not only bounded to the four walls of hospital, now a days they are being employed in many sectors which include industries to schools, community to home nursing, etc.
In addition health promotion by nurses can lead to many positive health outcome including adherence, quality of life, patients knowledge of their illness and self management which is a very important for enhancing the health status.
Nursing education is now becoming a popular and emerging career. The roles and responsibilities of nurses are expanding day by day, which is increasing need for professional nurses. They are now focusing on individual, families and communities so that they can attain, maintain or recover optimal health. There are large number opportunities available for nurses not within the country but outside the country as well, so the profession is very popular among young boys and girls.

LOCATION
Institution is located in Kullu at peaceful place Sharabai (Kullu) which is surrounded by beautiful hills and peaceful monastery and also the airport. The institute is well connected with transport facility from Kullu.
CAMPLUS
The college campus has vast infrastructure equipped with well ventilated and spacious classrooms, hostels, demonstration labs, recreation centre and play ground etc. Hostel building is adjacent to the college campus with mess facility. Warden room is within the hostel.
Each room has attached toilets. Common toilet facilities are also available in the college and hostel with 24 hour water supply. College and hostel campus is guarded by security personal round the clock.
