OBG:– Running all National Programme under department.
Providing good patient care and running all special clinics including routine OPD.
Performing all kinds of major and minor gynaecological surgeries including
malignancy .

General Surgery:- Doing all types of routine major and minor open surgeries.
Doing all common types of laparoscopic and onco surgeries.
Dealing all types of Surgical emergencies, doing emergency surgeries and handling trauma patients as per ATLS protocol.
Apart from OPD and emergency duties looking for indoor admitted patients.

Medicine : Department is providing outdoor, indoor and emergency services to all types of medicine patients. Apart from this department is also providing the Echo and TMT services and providing supervision services in dialysis unit run by Hans Foundation

Skin:- Department of Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy is providing OPD services on all days. Special clinics for the diagnosis, management and follow up of reproductive tract infections (RTI/STI), leprosy, contact dermatitis, pigmentary dermatoses, pemphigus and psoriasis are held on different days of the week. Free treatment for STI and leprosy patients and management of lepra reaction cases is also provided. Department is also providing therapeutic facilities viz. RF cautery, nail surgery, excision of small benign lesions, mole surgery, small scar revision, etc. The investigative facilities include patch testing, skin biopsy, slit skin smears.

Psychiatry:-
OPD, IPD as well as emergency services as per standard protocols. Participation in all national mental health programs.
De-Addiction services round the clock.
Tele-consultation.
Tobacco cessation center.
Medical officer training in mental health.

Orthopedic Surgery:-
The department is providing emergency services to trauma patients as well as elective surgery for Hip Replacement, TKR, Spine Surgery, Pelvi-Acetabular Surgery, Tumor Surgery, Deformity correction etc.
Running CTEV Clinic on every Thursday and till date, treated more than 70 patients.

Pulmonary Medicine:- Apart from outdoor and indoor services department is providing bronchoscopy services for diagnosis of tuberculosis, Cancer and Other Disease.

ENT:- ENT Department is providing indoor as well as outdoor facility. Department is Providing ENT Endoscopic, Microscopic and Head & Neck surgeries for the benefit of the patients.

Dentistry:- Orthodontic treatment, Dental implants, Prosthetic rehabilitation, Endodontic treatment. Department has four advanced dental chairs.

Cardiology:- Outpatient Services (Every Tuesday & Thursday)
Echocardiography: Adult, Pediatric & Fetal (Every Monday & Wednesday).
Electrocardiography
Treadmill Test (TMT).
Holter Monitoring
Interdepartmental Calls.
Emergency Services ( On Call).
Academics: Cardiology Theory Classes & Seminars of MBBS final year.

Medicine Department:- Deptt. of Internal Medicine is treating approx. 150 to 200 OPD patients per day along with approx. 50 to 60 IPD patients per day in the wards, Casualty and CCU.
Deptt. of Internal Medicine is also running diabetic clinics, geriatric and NCD clinics.
Deptt. of ternal Medicine is also providing 24×7 emergency services in the institution.

General Surgery:- I. Oncosurgery services for cancer breast, kidney, thyroid etc.
II. Laparoscopic surgery

Obstetrics and Gynaecology:- Results of UG is more than 95 percent inspite of shortage of
faculty and senior residents.
Publications of the Department by all faculty = 60 till date.
Published one chapter in “Gynaecological Algorithem in Clinical Practice” (Jaypee Publications).
One-on-going project: To study the effectiveness of mobile phone use for improvement of maternal health in a selected block of HP.

Skin:- Faculty members have published 31 papers in indexed Journals. Faculty has presented 11 CPC’s.

Dentistry:- Placed more than 200 dental implants.
Low cost orthodontic treatment.
Annual delivered around 120 complete dentures.
33 research projects have been sanctioned till date by DME, Shimla under research grant programme of Govt of HP. Out of these 23 are complete and 4 are ongoing.

Community Medicine:- The Department of Community Medicine has been designated as a Learner Support Centre (LSC) by the Indira Gandhi National Open University for the BPCCHN/CCH courses for CHOs, reflecting its active role in capacity building and public health education.
The third Annual Conference of HP Chapter of IAPSM was organized by the Department of Community Medicine w.e.f. 18.11.2023 to 19.11.2023.
The Department of Community Medicine regularly observes various national and international health days such as World TB Day, World Health Day and World AIDS Day etc. contributing to the avocacy of key public health issues.
The Department of Community Medicine actively participates in coordinating various multispecialty health camps for the benefit of general public under the Family Adoption Programme (FAP) and Ayushman Bhava Campaign, contributing to community and public health promotion.

Cardiology:- Rising trend of patient turnout for outpatient services (Avg. 500 per month) and echocardiography (Avg. 300 per month).

Orthopedics:- HIMORTHOCON 2024 (31st CME cum Annual Conference of Himachal Pradesh chapter of INDIAN ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION) on dated 13-15/Sep/2025.
